I FINISHED ALL 108 DOLLS!

I have finally finished all my dolls. My goal was to make 100 dolls but I finished with 108. I gave 3 away already and am saving two for my two granddaughters that are old enough to appreciate them (they get the doll that they are named for). So I will have at least 100 to give away at Artfest for trades. Here are the final 18.

Doll 91-Candie (Notice she's holding an ice cream cone and she looks like an ice cream parlor to me).
 Doll 92-Meredith
 Doll 93-Sarah
Doll 94-Diedre
Doll 95-Elise, after my husband's grandmother.
 Doll 96-Lillee after our granddaughter.
Doll 97-Eva
Doll 98-Columbia, after Columbus. The body fabric was the fabric I found and used for my "inspiration fabric" when I designed my "Discover America" quilt.
 Doll 99-Abigail
Doll 100-Teesha Moore, after the originator and feerless leader of Artfest. She looks like she is running around busily which is what she does during Artfest. Thank you Teesha!
 Doll 101-Stella
Doll 102-Esther, I love this one for some reason. Probably because I have always loved purple and green and purple is one of my favorite color combinations these days.
Doll 103-Chaylee after my granddaughter.
 Doll 104-Breana, after another granddaughter.
 Doll 105-Cynthia, after another granddaughter.
Doll 106-Star, her necklace has a moon and star on it-in tribute to my husband who taught and loves astronomy.
Doll 107-Carolyn, after our cousin and my friend.
 Doll 108-Jordan, after our granddaughter.

VALENTINE'S DAY FUN

Over the weekend our granddaughter's came for their usual visit. We made valentines for their mom and dad. They had a great time!
The raw materials.
Lillee's  valentine.
 Chaylee's valentine.
We haven't had much snow this winter. The weather man actually said last night that it would "spit" snow in the evening. Which is actually a word that describes the snow we have been having. Usually we have snow piled everywhere but as you can see from the following photo, we barely have enough to make a snowman.

DOLLS 81-90

Doll 81-Emma, after our granddaughter.
Doll 82-Joy, because she looks happy.
Doll 83-Lillian, after another roommate in Hawaii.
 Doll 84-Cecile, just because!
Doll 85-Gabrielle, I guess I like french names.
Doll 86-Phoebe
Doll 87-Cherie
Doll 88-Catie
Doll 89-Molly
Doll 90-Kelly
NOTE: I have come to the conclusion that I am not a great photographer. I leave that to my husband who is a fantastic photographer. Unfortunately, I take these pictures for my blog. I would rather spend time making tiny accessories for these dolls than spend time worrying about tiny details in my photography. Oh, well, we all have different priorities!

STACKS OF STUFF

I am making all of these dolls, not only for a challenge for myself but also for trades at Artfest 2012. The theme this year is "Stacks of Stuff." So....
Stacks of fabric...
 Plus stacks of miscellaneous yarn...
 Plus stacks of bodies equals:
 Stacks of dolls...
 And more dolls...
And more dolls!

MORE DOLLS

I just finished my 92nd doll but am behind on photographing and posting them.
Here's Ann-Doll 63
 Doll 64-Chloe
Doll 65-Meadow-she's straight out of the sixties!
Doll 66-Jennifer after a foster daughter.
Doll 67-Gretchen
Doll 68-Linda-after a friend in Arizona whose husband has cancer. Please pray for her and her family.
Doll 69-Jill-after my skinny sister.
Doll 70-Junker Jane after a teacher at Artfest that I'm taking a class from. This one goes to her!
I'm going to start posting ten dolls at a times so I can get caught up to where I actually am!
